About me

Hey, welcome to my portfolio!

I'm Sergio, a biomedical engineer-turned-game developer from Colombia with a passion for crafting immersive experiences. While my journey began in the world of biomedical engineering, I've since embarked on an exciting adventure in game development.

With an MSc (and an honor degree!) in electronic engineering, I've fine-tuned my research skills and discovered a talent for teaching. I've even published multiple scientific articles and designed innovative courses, all while teaching a variety of subjects, from signal processing to programming in languages like MATLAB, Python, and C# to development of brain-computer interfaces.

But what truly excites me is the creative power of programming. I've leveraged this passion to delve into assistive technologies, using machine learning to solve real-world problems. Now, I'm applying the same passion to game development, where code becomes the blueprint for crafting interactive worlds and storytelling.

My unique background brings a blend of analytical thinking, problem-solving, and a dash of scientific curiosity to the game industry. I'm all about creating memorable experiences, and I'd love to explore how my skills can contribute to your next gaming adventure.

Let's build something amazing together!
